Great for holidays, weddings and party decorations!

Using Water-Keep for family craft projects is fun. So I have put together a few guides and how-to tutorials of projects I have enjoyed in the past. I hope you have a good time with these! (Send me your stories and pictures of your projects.)

Fresh Flower Arrangements

Water-Keep swollen granules are ideal for use in fresh flower arrangements in a vase. Follow mixing instructions below. Allow crystals to swell before adding the flowers.

Floating Candles

Follow mixing instructions below. Fill a glass container halfway with the swollen crystals. Add a candle in the middle. The crystals will reflect the light.


Ice/Heat Packs

Water-Keep swollen granules can be used in an ice or heat pack. Mix according to the instructions below and place in a heat-sealed bag or a zip-lock bag. Use a heavier gauge bag. Place the bag in the fridge or microwave.

Neck Coolers/Cool Ties

Proceed as for the ice packs, but use medium-sized crystals. Place them in a fabric tube made from two 4"x18" cotton rectangles stitched together, or a bandana folded and stitched into a triangle shape instead of a plastic bag.

Smelly-Jelly Air Fresheners

Water-Keep swollen granules are great for making gel air fresheners. Mix 1 teaspoon of granules with 6 oz of distilled water, 1 Tablespoon of your favorite fragrance oil and a few drops of food coloring. Once the granules are swollen, place in an 8 oz jelly jar. Cover with a round piece of lacy fabric and the rim of the lid.

Water-Keep is non toxic and environmentally safe.

	For colored crystals, add food coloring to water first, then add Water-Keep Coarse.
	Add 1 ounce or 3 tablespoons of Water-Keep into 1 gallon of water.
	Let the crystals swell for 2-3 hours.
	For faster results, use hot water.
	Drain any excess water.
